The Dupont Circle Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel overlooking Dupont Circle, in Washington, D.C. Before renovations in 2009, it was known as the Jurys Washington Hotel. Prior to that, it was known as the Dupont Plaza Hotel.

The Dupont Hotel contains nine floors, bar, lounge, patio and a restaurant. The hotel's restaurant is the Cafe Dupont, serving French-influenced dishes. The hotel runs a brunch buffet on Sunday called the Café Dupont Brunch Buffet. The bar is called the Bar Dupont and features modern artwork and leather furnishings. It is located at 1500 New Hampshire Ave NW. The current place where the hotel stands was formerly used as apartments for the International Monetary Fund.

In 2009 the hotel underwent a US$50 to US$52 million renovation, adding a ninth floor containing 13 suites and a duplex Presidential Suite. The hotel features dark wood, striped carpets and fabrics. The bathrooms all have heated marble floors. As the hotel is in a popular area of Washington, D.C., all of the rooms are insulated from noise from other rooms and outside of the hotel. The hotel contains a fitness centre with cardiovascular and weight machines. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi. It has a 1940s exterior, unlike the interior. The hotel's rooms offer cable television, voice mail, and WiFi. All rooms are nonsmoking. The hotel offers Superior and Deluxe rooms.

Reception

Writing in The Washington Post, Nancy Trejos applauded the hotel's furnishings and convenient location, but felt that it charged too much for some of its services. Writing in The New York Times, Fred Bernstein also praised the hotel's room design. He noted that there were "small mistakes" made by his room service.
